One structured data layer.
Network charges are the largest non-commodity component of a GB business energy bill — and the most fragmented dataset in the industry. Rates vary by time of day, by season, by region, by meter type. Some refresh every half-hour. Some monthly. Some annually.
For an enterprise finance team, a consultancy desk, a generator modelling revenue, or a supplier pricing a portfolio, that means pulling rates from 14 DNOs, 4 GDNs, NESO, Ofgem, LCCC, HMRC and Xoserve — and stitching them together by hand. We did that work, once, and built the platform around it.
